working on a new #NOVAOpen board & one of the things I’m doing is expanding out my existing Sector Imperialis tile with 4 6x6 tiles that make the rest of the church building. When one of the tiles failed halfway into printing I decided to make one part a total crater #Necromunda #WarhammerCommunity

On the competition side in Capital Palette, I ended up focusing on this amazing Batman sculpt by Andrea Miniatures.
Prepping and painting metal minis is hard - who knew? - but this was the furthest I'd ever pushed myself on a display piece.

One other #NOVAOpen thought: I saw a lot of masks while I was there! Not as many as I would like (everyone), not most people (I mean, probably not even 1% of attendees) but I did see more this year than last. Probably a pair of masked faces every time I left the Infinity room.

Another NOVA Open wrapped up! Had a great time at the Northern Assault Alpha Strike Tournament against 46 other incredible players! Ended up in 37th with my Crater Cobras. Unfortunately did not place in the Capitol Palette but there is always next year. #novaopen #battletech #northernassault

Day 1 wrapped!
We did a couple hours of theory followed by base coating/sketching/blocking; I focused most of the afternoon on the cape and trying out things like textures, tomorrow we're going to be tackling skin tones, NMM etc.
