One of the best things about the recent 50th anniversary showing of
#nutsinmay (now on iplayer) is the fact they showed the Arena episode from 1982 which I had never seen before. Fantastic shots of the young Alison Steadman, Marion Bailey & Phil Davis amongst others.

Forgot that BBC were showing #NutsInMay last night until too late so couldn’t keep up with those live posting through it. Missed a showing at my local cinema last year too. Caught up this morning and it’s delightful. Must have been an influence on Ben Wheatley? My first Mike Leigh too, to my shame.
