I bought a 2009 #MacBook to try out, mainly for iMovie (which I use on my phone) but, having downloaded it, it runs at a snail’s pace - unusable. This can’t have been the experience in 2009 when this was a current model so what’s happening? #OS9 #ElCapitan

Using autocad r12 on mac os 9.2.2
Had to manually increase allowable ram to enable rendering. Seems amazingly backwards for an OS from 2001.
Is this a thing with os 9 or is it only for old 68k programs?

My IRC client (Snak) unexpectedly stopped working on my iMac. It completely disregards any keyboard input. However, the keyboard works fine in other applications like Classilla. I’m quite confused, any tips MacSky & RetComSky? 😵‍💫 #classicmac #OS9
