Last week the Government published its National Cancer Plan for England.
In 2025 #OneCancerVoice came together to outline six essential tests it needed to meet. We welcome the new plan and are committed to working together to ensure it delivers for people affected by cancer.

Last week, the Government published the National Cancer Plan for England.

By 2040, it’s projected that someone in England will receive a cancer diagnosis every two minutes.

Yesterday we were proud to join 60 cancer charities to speak as #OneCancerVoice. Together, we are calling on the government to deliver a fully-funded National Cancer Plan for England. In order to make real change happen for people living with cancer, the Plan must meet six essential tests.

646,000 new cases of cancer could be diagnosed in Yorkshire and the Humber between now and 2040.

The Government must address these long-standing inequalities and invest now for a cancer-free future, in Yorkshire and beyond.
