If rikishi were allowed to heal without fear of dropping down the rankings, the quality of sumo we would get would be so much higher. Instead, #Onosato gave out a kinboshi, #Takerufuji is back in juryo, and we have a thin Minatogawa(?) oyakata instead of a rotund battle hamster. #Takakeisho #sumo

Happy for #Onosato to win the yusho and becoming the new yokozuna. Well-deserved, of course. I'm also excited to see two yokozuna fighting one another in the future. I just don't seem to have the same joy about it as when #Hoshoryu was promoted. In my mind, he embodies the title more.
