It's fake spring today. 20 degrees celsius out there. It might feel like summer is round the corner, but it's mother nature's little joke. But I did manage a walk and visit my willow tree, not seen it in two months. I am now in shorts, cuz hot flushes aren't a joke. #OpRecovery and #Menopause

It's so unfair! Four years I have gone to Austria in the hope of walking in thick snow, and it's been green all around except up on the high ski slopes. But this year, the year I couldn't go thanks to having to have an operation, they have heavy snow, everywhere! So annoying! #OpRecovery #FuckCancer

My valentine is arriving in Austria for a ski holiday without me. I have mixed feelings. I love going away but won't miss the 12hr drive there and back. I'll miss different scenery and a chance for scenic walks, but walking as yet is not something I can do for long without pain. Ah well. #OpRecovery

I feel done with this. I'm over this recovery and not being able to go anywhere, drive or go out walking. Having to lie about and be housebound. I'm sick of it. And it's not even been 4 weeks yet. Sigh. #OpRecovery

I've made the difficult decision not to go to Austria with hubby & the kids skiing. I don't ski anyway, but it means Eldest won't get the house to himself. Upside is his cousin can go with them in one car too. I just don't want to push my recovery. #OpRecovery

I have done nothing all day! Laid in bed binge watching Parenthood. Enjoyed the luxury of the cleaner coming. I did try & call the hospital but no one the line was not answered so I was told to call back. I didn't bother. Had no more spotting. But if I do I'll try again. #OpRecovery

Morning. Hubby has left with my urine sample as I lucky had a pot already in the drawer. It didn't look right. But at least I have no fever. The continued heat emanating from my body is the almost constant hot flushes. #BladderInfection #OpRecovery
