I've always believed in giving the 12yo as many experiences as possible, so this afternoon we've gone to the opera in Leeds to see a one-act production 'The Big Opera Mystery' containing lots of famous opera characters and songs.

I went to #WNOTosca last night. A stunning staging and performance. (The staging was #OperaNorth and very clever.) And yet again I saw orchestra and singers in a perfect synergy. Live performances need live orchestras.
