A Taste of the Real 2019: Retro Future Gal Clears OutRun 2019 (Genesis 1993) (Normal) This delightful, fantastic game is a taste of what 2019 should have been like, not... whatever kind of garbage we ended up with in reality. This run was recorded on original Sega hardware/software in OBS, running composite AV split between a CRT and capture card. There aren't as many behind the scenes notes here as on previous uploads, as I had a tremendous amount of fun recording this and I think the lessons learned from previous videos started paying off in this LP. Two minor gaffes, though: Unfortunately, OutRun 2019 is not on the North American Genesis Mini 2 as I thought while filming (I mistook its presence there for OutRunners), rather it is on a region variant of the Mega Drive Mini. Between filming the video and uploading it, CIB copies of OutRun 2019 shot up quite a bit in trending price, however as of this note, loose cartridges or cartridge and box listings are still going for reasonable amounts.
