Brazilian tech company CEO dies following collision while skydiving Thomas Britis, a 44-year-old telecommunications CEO, was killed in a skydiving accident on Saturday in Boituva, a city in the southeastern Brazilian state of São Paulo.

Tech CEO dies in parachute accident in Brazil. His parachute deployed but he had an uncontrolled fall and died from his injuries.

They're still investigating, so I shouldn't speculate, but it sounds like they were too close together.
