I believe this is the DVD sleeve art for Millennium Actress. The art features protagonist Chiyoko Fujiwara as herself surrounded by her in various roles she has played throughout her storied acting career.
Here is a collection of panels illustrating director Satoshi Kon’s storyboarding technique. The style is very detailed and looks more like manga panels that just need a bit more polish as opposed to the rougher work typical of storyboards.
