One of the miniatures I painted for Paranoia for @modiphius.bsky.social was a Vending Machine that can be used as scenery. I wanted it to look very cartoony and colourful and had a lot of fun on this one! 😊

They were my favourite to paint for the line, I loved the characterful sculpts, I particularly love the robot chef ‘Butcher’, and had a lot of fun painting the blood effects!

On pre-order now is the new Paranoia miniatures based on the Paranoia RPG. The Trouble Shooters were the very first miniatures I painted for @modiphius.bsky.social and it was a lot of fun! A great challenge, it pushed me out of my comfort zone a lot and I learnt a lot!

A two-color rebuild of the classic black-and-white "Equipment/Weapon/Vehicle Request Form" from the early West End Games editions of the Paranoia RPG. The grey tones that had been halftone screens in the WEG original are now solid red tones, possibly indicating that this form would be issued to a Red-Clearance citizen.

When I'm not doing RPG stuff for work, I'm doing fan RPG stuff, and one of my projects has been from-the-ground up vector remasters of the classic Paranoia forms.

(Also making several all-NEW forms, natch ... and adventures for introducing them, and ...)

A section from the 2023 Paranoia rulebook regarding the game's currency (since Alpha Complex is a Utopia, nobody needs money, they can just use social currency - "Thank yous" aka XP Points - which completely coincidentally can be used as fiat currency. "A citizen with several thousand thankyous is likely trustworthy, whereas one with few XP Points is probably a traitorous bastard worthy of only scorn, derision and mild-to-moderate waterboarding. In other words, the rich can be trusted but the poor are always suspect. Great to see relaxing games that have nothing in common with the real world!"
