The misspelling of the word Britain has generated much mirth among political commentators, for seeming to encapsulate the rank amateurishness of what remains of the party after its disastrous years in power.

In Manchester for a few days at the #Conservative #PartyConference. Aside from the politics it’s impossible not to feel the impact on the city of last week’s awful attack at Heaton Park Synagogue. The flags at the conference centre were flying at half mast as a sign of respect to all those involved.
