With this being Peace Corps week, I wanted to take a moment to recognize the selfless men and women working throughout the world to help increase literacy, reduce diseases, and increase economic prosperity worldwide.

Not many know this about me, but when I was a young adult, I served in the Peace Corps. Stationed in American Samoa, I worked with the population on tactics to mitigate diseases as well as general reproductive health.
