Government in the process of improving laws to deal with foreign interference – MKN KUALA LUMPUR: The government is reviewing and improving existing legislation, particularly the Penal Code, to address the threat of foreign interference more specifically and effectively. Director-General of National Security, Datuk Raja Nurshirwan Zainal Abidin, said the proactive measure was necessary given that the element of interference by external entities was currently not addressed in depth under national legislation.
