#PerfectSoundForever as was once said, and the quest for higher fidelity leaves moribund media in its tracks, although this #superaudiocd remains #backwardscompatible and thus can be enjoyed on a regular old #cdrom drive. Anyway #BigStar’s #1Record and #RadioCity remain an unsurpassed one-two punch.

The back cover of the CD of Slint's debut album Tweez. The original, pictured above, has typewriter text at the top stating "This recording is meant to be listened to on vinyl." The new remaster, which otherwise faithfully reproduces the original, does not have that statement. (It does say that it was remastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering in the credits.)
