A man was arrested for breaking the glass enclosure of the Stone of Destiny at Perth Museum, but the stone remains unharmed. This iconic artefact has a rich history tied to Scottish kings and was used in King Charles III's coronation.

A record salmon was landed on the Tay by a woman - Georgina Ballantine - and it's the salmon that gets celebrated! In sculpture anyway - tbf the new #PerthMuseum has an interactive display that centres Georgina rather than the fish.
