Very difficult to find a good insurer Clare. If they can get out of it they have a clause for it. We've been with #petplan for years and to be fair they have covered relative minor problems; however the premiums are forever rising and they will deduct 20% for 'old' dogs (over 9)regardless of breed.

Hey, pet owners, who would you recommend for #petinsurance? I insured Maeve with #Petplan for 11 years but they let me down very badly by refusing to honour the policy when she was diagnosed (and died) last summer and I had to cancel/defer an overseas trip to care for her. Any thoughts? Thanks all.
