"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is a song by the English #popRock band #TearsForFears from their second studio album #SongsFromTheBigChair (1985). It was written by #RolandOrzabal, #IanStanley, and #ChrisHughes and produced by Hughes. It was released on 22 March 1985 by #Phonogram, #Mercury.
