Tras semanas de rumores y especulaciones, Google presentó la nueva familia de móviles **Pixel 10** con la que espera hacer frente a Samsung y otros fabricantes de Android. Aunque las novedades de este año están centradas en la fotografía y sus capacidades de IA, existe una característica que nunca habíamos visto en los móviles de la compañía. Los Pixel 10 debutarán con **Pixelsnap, una tecnología de carga inalámbrica idéntica al MagSafe** del iPhone. Si bien Google ya se había comprometido a adoptar el **estándar Qi2** , la compañía no ofreció detalles sobre su implementación. Ahora se sabe que los Pixel 10 serán compatibles con la carga inalámbrica de 25 W de un modo parecido a lo que vemos en el iPhone. Pixelsnap **permite acoplar cargadores inalámbricos, soportes, empuñaduras y otros accesorios** al móvil. La tecnología también está integrada en las fundas oficiales, por lo que podrás conectarlo al cargador sin tener que quitársela. Con el lanzamiento del Pixel 10, Google ha presentado una variedad de opciones que van desde el típico cargador circular hasta un soporte con brazo. Tal vez el más llamativo de todos es **un anillo que permite colocar el móvil en posición horizontal o vertical** mientras se carga. Este aditamento será perfecto para quienes realizan videollamadas o miran una película mientras viajan en avión o tren. La adopción de Qi2 en el Pixelsnap permitirá, por primera vez, que exista **un ecosistema compartido entre Apple y Android**. Hace unos días, el Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) confirmó que ya había certificado a una oleada de cargadores de Anker, Aukey, Ugreen y Baseus para ofrecer carga Qi2 de 25 W. La nueva tecnología de Google será compatible con estos y otros miles de accesorios magnéticos ya existentes. Aunque la noticia puede sonar increíble para algunos, existen algunos detalles a considerar. De entrada, la velocidad de carga inalámbrica de Pixelsnap no será igual para todos los modelos. Los **Pixel 10 y Pixel 10 Pro solo soportan carga inalámbrica Qi2 de hasta 15 W** , mientras que el Pixel 10 Pro XL alcanza los 25 W que promete Qi2.2. Aquellos que no estén interesados en adquirir los accesorios y deseen conectar el móvil a través de un cable USB, podrán hacerlo. Los Pixel 10 y Pixel 10 Pro son compatibles con carga rápida de 30 W a través de USB-C. Mientras tanto, el Pixel 10 Pro XL admite 45 W, la misma velocidad que vimos en su predecesor. La adopción de Qi2 con Pixelsnap abre la puerta para que otros fabricantes hagan lo mismo. **Samsung ya tiene tres móviles certificados** (Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Fold 7 y Z Flip 7), al igual que OnePlus con su OnePlus 13. Existen otras marcas —como Motorola— que prometieron abrazar el estándar, aunque todavía no lanzan terminales compatibles.
