The CEO of the Police Federation of England and Wales has been suspended after being arrested for suspected fraud. Mukund Krishna was detained by City of London Police's Domestic Corruption Unit. 2 others also arrested. All on conditional bail. No charges yet.

Much as I respect #DameVeraBaird, I have doubts about involving former police officers in reviewing miscarriages of #justice.

Police corruption /incompetence leads to many unsafe convictions, and police are good at closing ranks - the #PoliceFederation is set up to protect bad cops.
