The children came to visit and stayed for a few hours. Leo cuddles them, so did Mama Chips. Tato came for some petting, but Po just came out of hiding now that they're gone.

A handyman was here this morning to repair the wholes that the electrician made in the wall and the ceiling. The potatoes were scared again, but Tato came back quickly and cuddled. Po took much longer.

Four white "all rounder" potatoes cut up into wedges, tossed in peanut oil with salt and heaps of ground black pepper, and oven roasted for 20 minutes at 220°C. There's probably about a teaspoon of black pepper corns there, roughly ground in a mortar and pestle.

After a challenging picnic and lots of walking with the weight of what we'd bought, dinner was always going to be something simple. Black pepper potato wedges, and something to wash it down with.

Twice baked potatoes vacuum sealed in a bag

I made twice baked potatoes tonight. I do them in a big batch with bacon, green onions, Greek yogurt, and cheese. Then vacuum seal them and freeze them. Easy to pop in the air fryer for a quick snack or side.
