My 34 year old (1992) Apple PowerBook Duo 210. 9" 640x400 Passive TFT greyscale display, 4MB of RAM & a generous 80MB hard disk drive. It still works, although the M1 CPU in my MacBook Air is some 7,000 times more powerful than the Duo's Motorola 68030!

A desk is covered with the fully disassembled components of a PowerBook G3 “Pismo” laptop. The bottom casing of the PowerBook is positioned in the center-right of the desk, with its green logic board and other internals exposed. Around it are various parts removed from the system, including the CPU/RAM daughtercard, the optical drive, hard drive, heat sink, speaker assembly, AirPort card, keyboard, and the display panel, which sits toward the back-left of the desk with its cables still attached. Also on the desk are multiple precision screwdrivers, a magnifying glass, a blue and white ceramic coffee mug, a remote control, a CD-R, and some scattered screws and tools. A large flat-panel Sun Microsystems monitor looms behind the workspace, turned off, with another white Apple keyboard partly underneath it. Nearby, an iPad with a keyboard case is just visible at the right edge of the frame, and the corner of a laptop with SteelSeries stickers is tucked under the desk on the left.
Sooo… I tore this #powerbook #powerbookg3 apart thinking the little power jack was the issue… it was not. It was the cable that was the problem. Oh. I see.
