I've also really like Itaglio printing and now I have too many ideas but had fun making this one which I want to redo because we ended up with a bad batch of paper that didn't soak properly.

More adventures in printing class, we've moved onto block printing which is what I actually wanted to learn to use in my own work, so I recycled some old embroidery designs and making plans for the left over embroidery hoops.

Made two test screens this evening.
My conclusion is that the new dual cure emulsions need a lot longer drying and I simply don't have the space for a drying rack.
But hopefully I can successfully make screens this weekend!

First reduction, printed from background to foreground instead of light to dark colors. Didn't turn out like I hoped but I still love the background leaves contrasting with leaves in the foreground. I'd like to replicate that part in future prints.
