I am thrilled I finally checked out the Boston Athenaeum. Established in 1807 its home to over 500K volumes. Reading is such a central part of who I am. I loved my day.

A fine specimen of Dutch typography and book art of the interbellum: H. Marsman, De vliegende Hollander [= The Flying Dutchman], Maastricht, 1923. Typography by Charles Nypels, Plantin-letter, on papier of Van Gelder. Woodcuts, vignet and initials by Jozef Cantré.
