A light skinned hand holds a framed miniature painting. The painting is a one and a half inch square version of the 1998 self-titled album from artist Eve 6. The image has a white or off-white background, and shows some red and black abstract shapes in the left side. (These are stylistically obscured text) The right side of the image is taken up by the black and white image of a fly- possibly it a house fly or similar species. The fly is somehwhat stylized. It seems to be investigating or consuming smudge or smear along the bottom of the image.

When I expressed distaste for his often muddy, bleached palette, a friend who enjoys his works said "I suppose they are kind of Sad Beige Paintings for Sad Beige Children"

A still taken from a scene from "Esperanto x Keep Flying-198 Broadway" The image is entirely In shades of grey and black. (Even the lighter shade is fairly dark ) A human figure is curled up in a defensive or fetal position implying pain, despair, fear, etc. The figure is a jointed doll puppet made from simple shapes- ovals, oblongs, etc. While it is 3d, the shadows themselves are flat. They have their hands covering their head and face. The figure has pitch black wounds or scars on its foream, lower leg, and (covered) face. These wounds have lines like lightning or tree roots stretching away from the edges. They are lying on a stony cliff edge. At the edges of the image are blurry but jagged shadows encroaching, add though the figure was being swallowed by darkness.

Twenty five colorful polymer clay hands sit on an ivory colored rectangle. They are magenta, violet, blue, chartreuse, orange, and aqua. They are all mitten or spoon shaped (meaning that some have thumbs and some do not, but none have defined fingers) they have magnets glued onto the wrists.

I documented so much of the process of creating #ProjectEsperanto that my image files are filled with weird (but cool) pictures. I had to attach magnets to the hands is all 6 colirful FRED puppets, and captured this moment while the glue dried.

A production photo of a stopmotion puppet prototype against an in- progress backdrop. A very simplified human figure kneels or crouches on the light-colored wooden ledge of an easel. Behind the figure is a lighter grey canvas with a tree trunk and some briars and undergrowth The figure (called Fred or F.R.E.D. - Faceless Representative Everyman Dude/Dudette/Duder) is medium-to dark gray and had no distinguishing features. It is made up of 17 individual flat, simply- shapedpieces- head, neck, chest/ribcage, belly/core, saddle/pelvis, upper and lower arms, hands, upper leg, lower leg, knees. Despite having no facial features, FREDs body language seems expressive, and they seem to face the viewer. Despite being assembled from fairly simple shapes, their positioning seems natural. (This is not a brag-I was shocked)

Feels almost torturous for both creator and viewer.
Most folk would describe me as colorful -maybe excessively so
In #ProjectEsperanto, dragging a vibrant colorful individuals into the muted grey of the #Netherwilds was a way to convey some of that experience, and discuss, through #animation🧵3/4

It is fairly low contrast, only the waterfall stands out with a strong white color. The waterfal empties into a broad creek or steam at the bottom of the image. There are stepping stones in the center. To the right, a tree leans over the creek, with a large hollow at the bottom that opens into the water.

I *agonized* over this prompt
I don't usually (read: NEVER) do #monochrome, esp #grayscale, but it was crucial for this piece

This drawing is brightly colored and roughly executed. Simple, or sketchy. A very stylized bright blue hand holds a piece of watermelon. Beyond the hand is green grass, and a very fluffy, scruffy buff-brown dog. The dog has big eyes and an open mouth. Its right ear is raised, (actually the dogs left ear,. But the right side for the viewer) and it's mouth is open. The dog looks excited about the watermelon.

And in case the animatic is twitch-ety, here's a still.
Since I suspect people will be curious-
Fiona is a shihtzu mix, and she LOVES watermelon, and yes, she's a very good girl.

A messy scattered pile of miniature painters tools. Dollhouse style miniatures. An upright palette at the back has a lot of different paints on it, blended and ready to use. Aplat palette sorts to the right side of the image, with two thin paintbrushes laid across it. A tube of magenta pain my head been squeezed, perhaps by accident, onto this palette. A short video of a waterfall in a monochrome grey forest (It's meant to be black and white, but the file converts to light pink and I can't fix it on mobile) A large hollow tree sits to the right is the image, and a dark pool, with stones set across it sits at the bottom. A large stone outcropping sits at the left of the image. The waterfall is bright white with foam. It pours down a large bank of striateds tones and is very active. After a few seconds of nothing but waterfall motion, a black tentacle or pseudopod tentatively unfurls from the left side of the image, as if testing the ground.

A closeup of a tiny open crayon box held in light-skinned fingers. A (literal) thumbnailtakes up about a 6th of the image in the bottom left corner. The fingers at the top are splattered with dots of yellow paint. The crayon box is a warm yellow color, with corners accented in dark green. There are two lines of text in the centre of the box - the top line is unreadable and may be deliberate gibberish (I actually don't remember), and the lower line reads "CRAYONS" The box is white inside, with a few dots and streaks of other colors- blues, reds, pinks, etc. The brush strokes left a very pronounced texture on the box.

There are incidental marks inside every real crayon box- so I added them to this miniature.

The easel itself is a yellowish wood, and is covered with splatters of various colors of paint. It's hard to judge from the image, but the full height of the easel is between 5½ and 6 inches.
