so... apparently if you connect your network (production) to a server with Proxmox where you have a VM SofosFW DHCP server that will turn it into a rough DHCP server! Ooops! (well at least this time it was NOT DNS)

Learn by breaking I say!

Updating iDRAC is not fun! Specially when you don't have an OS installed! But, with the help of the Spaghetti Monster I was able to get it done!

Latest Firmware/BIOS supported on my r630! Ready to rock now!!!

Habemus Firewall!!!

Sophos XG Community edition is a bit complicated to install as a VM but with the tutorial from @christianlempa it was less complicated! Lots of work but solid instructions!!!

Nice! A local store had an NVMe in stock (👌 thanks CoolBlue!) 😅

Time to play operation on this machine and install @proxmox.bsky.social. Once up and running, I can try adding back the old NVMe, to see if I can access its data volume in an attempt to rescue some VMs there. 🙏

Je vous propose la mise en pratique de traefik sur mon homelab #devops. Pour le moment je ne m'en sers que pour exposer l'UI de #Promox dans le réseau publique (pas internet). Mais par la suite j'utiliserai d'autres providers dynamiques comme #docker #k8s
