ONEPACT 원팩트, “SANE”으로 첫 EP ‘1’ONLY 컴백 #ONEPACT #원팩트 #1ONLY #SANE #DOUFXXKINGLOVEMETOO #OP #PullUp #아르마다ENT ONEPACT(원팩트)가 첫 EP를 통해 팀의 음악적 방향을 본격적으로 내세운다. 이번 작업에서는 강렬한 무대 에너지와 내면의 감정을 함께 담아낸 구성이 눈에 띈다. 첫 번째 EP ‘1’ONLY(원앤온리)는 무대 위에서 드러나는 강한 에너지와 홀로 있을 때 마주하는 고요한 순간이 모두 하나의 자아에서 나온다는 흐름을 중심에 둔 앨범이다. 서로 다른 결을 가진 장면들을 하나의 축으로 엮으면서 원팩트가 바라보는 자기 세계를 음악으로 정리했다. ONEPACT 원팩트, 첫 EP ‘1’ONLY로 강렬한 음악 정체성 드러낸다. (사진=아르마다이엔티) 수록곡은 베일에 싸인 스페셜 트랙을 포함해 총 5곡이다. 앨범은 일련의 감정 변화를 차곡차곡 쌓아 올리는 방식으로 구성됐고, 팀이 가진 자신감을 사운드와 가사에 고루 배치했다. 타이틀곡 ‘SANE(세인)’은 이러한 방향을 가장 앞에서 드러내는 곡이다. 계산을 앞세우기보다 그 순간 떠오른 감정과 상태를 거칠게 드러내는 내용을 담았고, 금속성 신스 사운드를 축으로 힙합, 팝, 락 요소를 한 곡 안에 결합해 설렘과 긴장감을 동시에 만들어낸다. 다른 트랙들은 장르와 분위기를 달리하며 EP의 폭을 넓힌다. 원팩트의 이름을 강하게 각인시키는 붐뱁 힙합 ‘O-P’와, 호감이 가는 상대를 향한 여유 있고 뻔뻔한 플러팅을 디지코어 장르로 풀어낸 ‘Pull Up’이 이어지며 전반부 색채를 만든다. 이어 상대의 마음이 식어가는 기류를 알면서도 끝내 터져 나오는 직설적인 고백을 담은 팝 랩 곡 ‘DO U FXXKING LOVE ME TOO’ 등이 배치돼 감정의 온도를 달리한다. 여기에 베일에 싸인 스페셜 트랙까지 더해져 서로 다른 결의 곡들이 하나의 흐름으로 연결되는 구도를 이룬다. 이번 EP에서는 멤버 태그의 참여 범위가 특히 넓다. 태그는 앨범 프로듀싱과 더불어 전곡 작사, 작곡에 이름을 올리며 자신의 음악적 역량을 적극적으로 드러냈고, 이를 통해 팀의 색을 직접 그려 넣은 완성도를 갖춘 결과물을 내놓았다. 콘셉트 비주얼에서도 두 가지 상반된 이미지를 통해 앨범이 내세운 축을 확장했다. ‘SANE’ 버전 콘셉트 포토에서는 메탈릭한 질감과 미래지향적인 카리스마를 강조했고, ‘inSANE(인세인)’ 버전에서는 시간이 멈춘 듯한 폐공장을 배경으로 빈티지하면서도 자유분방한 청춘 영화 같은 분위기를 보여주며 폭넓은 콘셉트 소화력을 드러냈다. 원팩트는 지난해 여러 장의 앨범 활동과 함께 유럽·북미를 아우르는 글로벌 투어를 진행해 무대 위 실력과 팀워크를 함께 확인시킨 바 있다. 이번 ‘1’ONLY를 통해서는 그간 쌓아 온 활동 위에서 또 다른 매력을 제시하며 다음 국면의 음악 활동을 이어가게 됐다. ONEPACT의 첫 번째 EP ‘1’ONLY는 26일 낮 12시 각종 온라인 음원 사이트를 통해 발매됐다.
