Text from Pink Zombie Rose (She’s Got Jaws.) She’d lay on the hot rocks, under this orange sun, for as long as she could stand it. Finally, when she couldn’t take it a second longer, she’d give herself to the lake. An inflated lobster claw was a nice pillow. She cracked Lester Bangs: in a bankrupt world, there was still cosmic-cool connection between deeply uncool people; flashbulb moments were prophecy, and rock and roll was a model for utopian society. The earth was a melting misery, religion was putrefaction, but there were glimmers of goodness. Bang bang.
