#PyConUS tip: a nice new boutique hotel with balcony rooms available, basically just across the street from the venue, is actually working out as _cheaper_ nightly than the Marriott's reserved conference block rooms are!
I had been planning to switch my housing reso anyway just to get a balcony […]

If you are thinking about attending #PyConUS and the reason you're unsure is the cost, I recommend applying for a travel grant. If you're not applying because you think your employer _might_ pay, you can still apply and decline or withdraw if they agree to pay.
