#QE2 gave £7million for the 2022 settlement; £3million came from Pip’s estate (after his death); £1.5million was paid by Prince Charles with other royals also chipping in to stop Ms Giuffre’s sexual abuse case. #Pedrew’s not paid back a penny.

On #ThisDayInHistory in 2008, the former #Cunard #OceanLiner #QueenElizabeth2 (#QE2) docked at her new permanent home in #Dubai, #UAE. Launched in 1967 as one of the last liners, she operated as a cruise ship half the year and on the North Atlantic for the other half until 2008.
