Sugar Transported into the Interior of Strawberry Fruits Captured by RI Imaging (QST Takasaki ). Labeled carbon dioxide was administered to strawberry leaves using RI, and the transport of sugars produced through photosynthesis into the fruits was visualized with PET-CT imaging. This is a vital physiological function that directly affects the sweetness and size of the fruit.
