I need to do some more reading about the history of #Quakerism in India. "The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna" records the conversation of one disciple, Misra. He was an Indian #Quaker. He tells the other disciples that he has seen Jesus & Ramakrishna in visions, saying that Ramakrishna was also God. 🪷✝️🕉
Quakers haven't first of all worked out what they believe, or ought to believe, and then attempted to put it into practice. They start at the other end. They practice it first, then they work out how best to understand it or communicate it.
