Lucifer, in the guise of Anubis, wears a jackal headdress and sheer skirt with gold jewellery. Alastor as Ammit stands beside him, dressed in a red tunic. The monster from the myth, a combination of a crocodile, lion and hippo (all man eaters to Ancient Egyptians) lies at their feet. Behind them are the scales used to judge the dead, with one of Lucifer’s red and white feathers in place of the feather of truth (from the deity Ma’at). Hieroglyphic inscriptions give the names of Anubis and Ammit.
