Looking across an intersection of residential streets in a regional town, we see a railway track running along the centre of one of the streets. The track is not segregated from the roadway, but except in the intersection, the rails do project up from the road surface and there is a solid growth of weeds surrounding them. The rails are however shiny indicating that they do see use. On the far side of the road, on the nature strip in front of a house on the other side, is a standard NSWR km post displaying 322 in black numerals on a white plate.
