various sausages on display in a butchery. Most sausages are cut open, showing internal fabrics. In the center are two Brühwurst-type sausages that resemble "breccia", a particular kind of rock. These sausages contain boiled pieces of meat resembling angular clasts in a matrix-supported breccia.
The iconic church tower (colloquially named "Daniel") of St. Georgskirche in Nördlingen, Bavaria, seen from southwest in the late afternoon sun. The facade of the tower is sun-lit and appearing with a yellowish glow. This creates a strong contrast against the blue sky forming the background. The entire church is erected from a local type of rock termed "Suevite". Suevite is a term for a particular breccia formed during meteorite impacts; it was first described in the Nördlingen Ries crater.
