Gearing up again for my #MerryshireDetectiveClub playtest at #RPGNight at @rbccvt.org again on Friday. Finally going to start (Them willing and the brook don't rise)! I made a one-sheet summary of setting + village + rules + chargen for handing out for Open Table arrivals. Hopeful/anxious/excited!
My #MerryshireDetectiveClub playtest game was cancelled at #RPGNight due to multiple cancellations but those of us who did show threw together a quick improv #StarWars #ttrpg game in which we stole a stolen lightsaber from some pirates before the Empire could steal it. Goofy fast-paced improv fun.
Frantic game prep for #MerryshireDetectiveClub #ttrpg at #RPGNight. I wish there was a playtesters chat so we could trade tips and materials - I did a mockup of a certain last will, a Donnybrook village writeup, and quick-refs, I'd love to share. Nervous about the game itself; never done a mystery.
Finished reading through Merryshire Detective Club playtest rules and jazzed to run it at #RPGNight at @rbccvt.org on Friday. This is gonna be so much fun. I've never run a playtest, or GUMSHOE, or really a murder mystery, so it's also a bit scary. I can say, just reading the book is a laugh riot.

#RPGNight at @rbccvt.org went well tonight - despite me being nervous a new #D&D group is going to bleed away more of my attendees - with a #StarTrekAdventures #ttrpg continuing Season 2's theme of the Romulan espionage threat, interleaved with yet more tachyonic temporal anomalies.
#RPGNight on Friday, running a variety of #ttrpg options - Star Trek Adventures right now, Invincible superhero roleplaying soon - is being joined by a twice-monthly #DungeonsAndDragons game, starting Saturday at 3pm, using 3.5 rules. Both groups are Open Table, so come by to watch or join any time!
Pretty awesome end to the #StarTrekAdventures #ttrpg on #RPGNight at @rbccvt.org tonight - my players channeled Jeffrey Sinclair and negotiated their way out of a mess letting both the Takarans and Romulans feel like they'd won. Then I jumped them four years and blamed them for Balance of Terror. :)
I have that one on my phone at all times, but not as my lock screen. Instead, I often cast it to the big TV at @rbccvt.org before #RPGNight to set the mood when people are arriving for my #StarTrekAdventures game.

My #RPGNight #ttrpg group at @rbccvt.org is doing #StarTrekAdventures featuring the story of the U.S.S. Challenger in the early 2260s. So at #CraftClub for a few months I've been building the #model, and I finally finished it today, with a custom decal for the name.
Today at #CraftClub at @rbccvt.org I did the final painting and assembly of the U.S.S. Challenger, the ship from our #StarTrekAdventures #ttrpg at #RPGNight. In two weeks, I will be doing decals, including a custom decal for the name, and finally finishing this project months in the making.

A thrilling conclusion to season one of Queer New Worlds, our #StarTrekAdventures #ttrpg at #RPGNight at @rbccvt.org, tonight. It came to a mostly-bare-knuckles fight at the computer core, during which EVERYONE got knocked out except the main villain and ONE supporting character! Who saved the day!

Holy cats, tonight's #StarTrekAdventures session at @rbccvt.org #RPGNight was so Trek and so amazing. My ship's crew are in so much trouble - but not nearly as much as they think they are! I did some threat spends that really hit home and cranked up the tension. So many Traits in play...
My #RPGNight has a fair bit of setup; we use nameplates to help everyone know who everyone is playing, tokens, dice, and usually I'm holding character sheets. Not sure that it's helping as much as you'd hope to avoid 'let's talk for 20 minutes about spiders instead of the game'. But maybe a little?
Tough #StarTrekAdventures #ttrpg session at #RPGNight tonight - it's a hard game to work in #OpenTable - how does a starship crew work when all the command staff, or everyone who can fly the ship, aren't there tonight? And I can't homebrew adventures to suit the crew if I don't know who they'll be.
