#RWA19 I had my doubts whether I even belonged at the conference -- I haven't been writing much and my blogging is more social media than a physical blog these days. (And nearly everyone I mentioned this laughed "you talk books all the time!")

#rwa19 I am so glad I went to the Rita awards to see romance glittering and affirming why the genre is so powerful. Seeing Kennedy Ryan, M. Malone and Nisha Sharma blow the doors down was amazing. I hope it's just the beginning.

#RWA19 my favorite moments were meeting bloggers I'd only chatted with twitter or authors I'd followed. Seeing the full array of attendees at the Ritas and award breakfast/lunch was boggling. Writing is very solitary and isolating, so it was nice to see the community.

For my first full conference, it was a frankly overwhelming experience. I keep using that word, but it was. There was so much going on at once and so many friends/writers to meet. But everyone was welcoming and asked how my conference had gone. #rwa19
