WOW. What ineffable storytelling! I want to show all the pages from New Gods 9, especially one I can’t. And the last page which I really can’t. Soaking in V/Parr/Cagle/Segala/Napolitano as something like an adult feels as good as reading Kirby/Royer as a kid. #RamV #NewGods #DCcomics
Filipe Andrade’s Mattoti-esque Black Racer issue stands out to me but all of the artists involved are standouts. Both modern & timeless so no better way to follow Kirby.
