Discovered this fab photo of a station in rural Germany. Delighted to find this as it matches what I have planned for my current layout. Of particular interest from the modelling point of view is the height and construction of the platform.

My favourite German diesel loco has to be the V60/Br260. I have a model of the V60 version in red. I have mixed feelings about the blue/beige livery, but I think it looks good on a 260. This mixture of the two liveries suggests, I think, that the photo was taken 1975-77?

This is just so predictable, but what surprised me was the loco. I was expecting a European loco for some reason.
I also like the imagine the train driver going "Eh! What was that? did you feel something just now?"

I have no idea where this is, but I am guessing somewhere in Germany?
I think I see a GWR 4-4-2 in the middle and maybe a DB class 10, the rest are a mystery to me.
