As part of #RedHandDay 2026, the Alliance encourages practitioners & policymakers to explore evidence from the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for #CAAC on how these risks manifest in different contexts, including Colombia and the Central African Republic.
✋Child recruitment and use expose children—including boys—to heightened risks of conflict-related sexual violence. These harms often remain hidden, underreported, and insufficiently addressed in prevention and reintegration efforts.
