Idaho public pool inspections to end as new law takes effect July 1 A new law that takes effect July 1 ends requirements for health districts to inspect public pools. Lawmakers said it gives back local control.

Idaho's latest entry for the Stupid Red State Olympics:

We're not going to test the water in public pools.

It's not like we didn't know Republican states were a sh*tshow, but now Idaho is going literal.
