Another way to rehumanize our content is to make sure it is accessible to all Ss.

Low floor-High ceiling.

Our Ss are not written at an accessible grade level for most Ss.

Teachers or adults in general.

They read like gibberish.

What better way to teach writing an essay than by letting them start w/something they are learning/using in other classes??

They will see how things are connected and no longer look at the 4 subjects as separate.

This will cover the Belonging Dimension.

Do the Ss believe they truly belong to the schl community? Do their opinions matter? Do they matter?

Go back to the 'feeling' questions (body/emotion).

In each class, count & record the number of Ss & Ts.

When everyone brings theirs back, discuss and compare.

*This would be a good time to teach making a Table in Docs & Sheets.*
