Our final medieval reindeer is from the earliest known version of "Der Naturen Bloeme" by Jacob van Maerlant (c1235-after 1291) from northwest Flanders (c1287). It again emphasises the antlers. #medievalmanuscripts #medievalbeasts #reindeer #reindeers
