Okay so farming Sara the Water Pokemon duelist is going well! I’ve got a functional deck with a 4-4 Seaking (Jungle) line, Blastoise, and some Basic attackers. It’s kind of sick. I can very consistently do 40 damage in the first two turns which is often enough to score a KO.

Dewgong is one of the most overlooked Pokemon of the original 151. It’s just a simple fantasy animal design, but it’s sleek & pleasing to the eye IMO. It’s a creature you can easily imagine prowling Arctic seas.

The Gen II to Gen III transition was Pokémon’s biggest make or break IMO.
That success is a testament to how good RSE and the GCN games were for their time, regardless of their retrospective faults. The backwards compatibility reset was pretty offputting.

This is lowkey one of my favorite Pokemon games. The cardpool only contains the first 1-2 years of TCG releases but it’s enough to build interesting decks. Collecting the cards is addicting. ‘98-‘00 is the time period I’m most nostalgic for so this game really scratches an itch
