#AB288 passed out of the #CALeg Assembly Public Employment and Retirement Committee with bipartisan support and no opposition. Bill author @asmtinamckinnor.bsky.social said that it is "unacceptable and frankly unAmerican" for workers to be denied the #RightToOrganize.
California workers are closer to having their #RightToOrganize protected, as a #CALeg committee approved #AB288, by @asmtinamckinnor.bsky.social. We heard from workers whose right to organize is being negatively impacted by federal government inaction. AB 288 will fix that. @teamsters.bsky.social
