Stellar Array / Megastructure 001 - Stellar arrays are mega structural ring-worlds built by the Precursor’s; 12 of these arrays reside on the edges of each galaxy serving as intergalactic super weapons should an ancient threat reemerge; they also serve as research facilities & shield worlds. Each array is equivalent to the size of a galaxy indicating that metaphysical & technological architects allow it to maintain stability & integrity for its size, mass, function & habitability. I took inspiration from Halo’s design of their installations & put it to use into my own story ark that’s in the making. To add, I used green lights instead of blue followed by diamonds instead of circles to differentiate it from the ring-worlds Halo has. The ancient threat these megastructures were created to combat against are known as the Blight. Lastly; instead of these megastructures targeting the nervous system specifically I have them target all biological matter rather then one specific area of biology making them affective against the Blight along with these megastructures being about the same size as an entire galaxy.

This is my biggest render job so far, a #ringworld called Kuklos. It features a custom design and instead of being an earth-like ring, it more closely resembles a habitable desert planet similar to Mars! I tried out more complex compositing on this one and am quite proud. Next is liminal spaces.

The Ringworld is about one million miles (1.6 million km) wide and approximately the diameter of Earth's orbit, encircling a sunlike star. It rotates to provide artificial gravity 99% as strong as Earth's from centrifugal force. It has a habitable inner surface (equivalent in area to approximately three million Earths), a breathable atmosphere, and a temperature optimal for humans.
