🔄 After grazing exclusion, #SoilOrganicCarbon (SOC) and #TotalNitrogen (TN) quickly recovered. Differences in SOC and TN storage were primarily driven by #Roottraits at the community-level.

Close shot of a scattering of Eucalyptus dalrympleana seedlings just emerging from the soil in a narrow, wide rhizobox.

Another root + drought pilot experiment: Will Eucalytus pauciflora and Eucalytus dalrympleana grow in rhizoboxes?

Rhizoboxes are narrow pots with a clear side so we can watch root growth. But Eucs don't like greenhouses so not sure if they'll put up with this.
