Printed out a 3 level Association Report from #Rootsmagic for Dr Joseph Stevens. I then created a diagram with the information using Powerpoint. You can start to see the different roles played by people with the changes in line styles (colour kept the same).

I decided to reinstall #RootsMagic 10 and my tree opened. I uninstalled version 11. If they ever work the bugs out of it in the future, maybe I'll consider installing it again. For now, going with what I know works. #Genealogy

Has anyone else downloaded the new version 11 of #RootsMagic and now can't open their tree? Two windows pop up when I try to open my tree. I'm usually good with fixing technical issues, but this has me stumped.

I'm using the latest version of #RootsMagic and spouses are being listed twice because I have pedigree collapse in my tree. If I delete the additional spouse, they both get deleted.😕 So frustrating. RootsMagic "help" is no help. Can't find a solution. Does anyone know how to fix this?

And yet on my walk today, listening to #researchlikeapro #344 I’m thinking again of my goal of identifying all of my immigrant ancestors. Good practice says work backwards from what is proven. But maybe for this little project I’ll break the rules with a notation in #rootsmagic and no posts online

#RootsMagic users, you need to upgrade to RootsMagic 10.0.0.4 immediately (it came out yesterday). It's just bug fixes, but there are a few major fixes involving using drag-and-drop leading to corrupting family relationships.

#RootsMagic 10.0.3 is now out, with a bug fix for the Relationship Chart report data loss issue, along with a couple of updates for #FamilySearch imports, and miscellaneous other fixes. RM users should update now.

#RootsMagic 10 users - temporarily hold off on creating Relationship Charts - there is an issue with limited data loss when doing so (namely data entered after you create a Relationship Chart). A fix is coming next Monday (Dec 9)
