🚂 Also two more things... 1) No offence to Eric Roberts, but how on earth did he manage to snap an Oscar nomination?! 😕 2) No idea whether that was in the original Kurosawa script but that final shot gives me such Soviet film vibes. 🚂 Proof that you can make a good film even with protagonists that aren't actually particularly likeable if you just provide 'em with a nasty enough foe. And John P. Ryan was a master at playing grade A assholes! I certainly can't remember him ever playing a sympathetic character. 🤔 #RunawayTrain 📽️🎞️
