- Greater and more targeted research funding
- More relevance strategic target setting
- Increased patient engagement in trials and research
- More partnerships and coordination
- A change in the way less survivable cancers are described

Later today at #SCC19, our chair @AnnaJewell7, Julie Harrington CEO of @GutsCharityUK and less survivable cancer patients will be speaking about how the Scottish Government can do exactly that.

We'll be running a breakout session at @ScotCancerConf in November on how we can double the survival rates of the least survivable cancers by 2029, potentially saving 10,000 lives a year! #SCC19
